
Victoria Duke
Victoria joined us as Estate Manager in May 2019. As a former Executive Assistant, she has extensive experience in administration, project management, organisation, corporate social responsibility, and stakeholder support.
She is responsible for all matters relating to both the residents and the buildings, and the management of day to day operations. This includes overseeing property maintenance, building work, and acting as a key point of contact and support for residents. She is passionate about preserving the history and heritage of the estate, while also enhancing the quality of accommodation for residents.

Lisa Morrissey
Lisa joined the Charity as Business Manager in April 2020. She brings extensive experience within the charitable sector, supported by strong financial, analytical, and customer service expertise.
In her role, Lisa has overall responsibility for the Charity’s finances and provides guidance to residents regarding their maintenance contributions. She oversees day to day operational functions, including budget management, accounting, insurance, Gift Aid, and legal administration. Lisa is committed to ensuring the long term sustainability of the Charity and takes a proactive, solutions focused approach to operational and strategic challenges.

Graham Young
Graham joined us as Compliance Officer in March 2026. He brings extensive experience in strengthening internal controls to ensure organisations operate responsibly, effectively and safely, with particular expertise in compliance, audit and risk management. Graham is committed to ensuring the Charity maintains strong governance and best practice for the benefit of its residents. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and watching local football.

Rachel Hill
Rachel joined us in September 2023. She provides administrative support to the Business and Estate Managers, and takes the minutes at our regular Board and Committee meetings. She has lived in Saffron Walden for over 15 years and previously worked as Development Officer at Newnham College, Cambridge, and more recently as a freelance editor, writer and proof-reader. Rachel also runs local singing events, and is a member of Saffron Walden Pop Choir.

Jake Brigham
Jake joined us as Fundraising Manager in January 2025. His role involves researching and developing new funding opportunities, approaching potential funders, and building relationships. His day-to-day tasks include writing, proofreading, budgeting, and engaging in donor stewardship. Jake’s connection to Saffron Walden is through his family, particularly his parents, and he enjoys spending time with them in the town.

Mark Wade
Mark grew up in Debden and moved to Saffron Walden eight years ago. He attended the local high school, and has three children who attend local schools. He has spent most of his working life installing neon art around the world. Mark currently renovates houses and enjoys football, tennis and woodworking.
