Donation from NFU Mutual

Our Business Manager, Lisa Morrissey, and Trustee, Steve Hasler, were delighted to accept a cheque for £7,899 from Roger Willmott and Alex Forbes of NFU Mutual. Staff at the Saffron Walden agency nominated the Almshouses to receive a donation from NFU’s national £2.33million Agency Giving Fund.

We are currently fundraising for Project Crocus, our plan to replace the 1950s bungalows on Primes Close with 16 modern, energy-efficient, accessible flats. Many thanks to the staff at NFU Mutual for nominating us – we are very grateful for the generous support!
