Fête de la Musique comes to the Almshouses!

We were delighted, for the first time, to be a venue for the third town-wide Fête de la Musique. It was especially poignant for us as Louise Turner, one of the team who started the Saffron Walden Fête in 2015, and much-missed throughout the town, was a resident here. It was great to welcome so many musicians and visitors, and some of our residents were very lucky to have ringside seats for the day! A three-yearly event that happens all over Europe, we very much look forward to being part of the next Fête.
