New defibrillator on site
Saffron Walden Almshouses now has a defibrillator on site. It is located in a locked cabinet on the wall at the back of the main building on Abbey Lane, and is for use by residents and the public. In the event of an emergency, should you need to use the defib, you will need to call 999 and ask for the access code to open the cabinet.
Huge thanks to London Hearts for supplying the defib. London Hearts seeks to make defibrillators more affordable to communities and organisations across the country, by providing charity funding through grants.
