£500 donation from Cam Valley Crematorium

We were delighted to host a visit recently from Patrick and Lee of Cam Valley Crematorium, who presented our Chair, Gary Hyams, and Trustee Steve Hasler with a generous cheque for £500. Patrick kindly nominated us as a beneficiary of the Westerleigh Group metal recycling scheme, a fund which enables the Crematorium to support charities, local activities and environmental initiatives which benefit the community they serve. We were pleased to be able to tell Patrick and Lee a bit about Saffron Walden Almshouses, our history, and our plans for the future. Many thanks to the Westerleigh Group, Cam Valley Crematorium, and to Patrick for nominating us!
