The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

We’ve had some great Platinum Jubilee celebrations, including a tea party for our residents and a stall at our Jubilee Community Together Day. The winner of our quiz was awarded a £25 voucher to spend at Saffron Walden Tourist Information Centre, where you’ll find a superb range of gifts for all ages. You can also download our Almshouses Jubilee colouring sheet, specially designed by illustrator Sarah Turpin, one of our residents.
